This is my neigbours barn. It's a long time now since they kept animals in here.I walk past it quite often and look at the way each plank is finished off , shaped into a triangle and painted white.
Each plank got a different width and it just makes it look great and handmade.

The paint is traditionell swedish Falu rödfärg.
I heard someone wanted to sell in the States
but the Swedish company said no because the minerals used to make the paint will run out in 50
years time. No more red houses in Sweden?
